Luxembourg’s Economic Outlook 2025
Luxembourg’s economy is expected to grow by 1.7% in 2025, driven by a recovery in financial services and investment funds, key pillars of the national economy.
Inflation will rise slightly to 2.1% as energy subsidies end, but consumer spending remains strong thanks to stable incomes and job security.
Unemployment holds steady at 6%, though labor shortages persist in construction and tech.
With solid fundamentals but ongoing fiscal pressures, Luxembourg enters 2025 with measured optimism and a focus on sustainable growth.

"The remarkable rise of Poland" is this week's cover story in The Economist.
"Poland has transformed itself into Europe’s most overlooked military and economic power - with a bigger army than Britain, France or Germany and living standards, adjusted for purchasing power, that are about to eclipse Japan’s.
Since 1995, income per person has more than trebled. Since joining the EU in 2004, Poland has almost never known recession. Its average annual growth over two decades: nearly 4%.”
Poland’s transformation is a testament to the power of long-term strategic planning, EU integration, and a resilient population. Its transformation is truly remarkable.
